About Nuestro Barrio Cafe
Who we are
Nuestro Barrio Liberation Café is a community rooted space dedicated to cultura, resistance, and collective care. We exist to nourish our people with coffee, art, education, and connection, while building a home for liberation work in East Durham. Our mission is to preserve our stories, uplift grassroots organizing, and create a space where working-class Black, Brown, and immigrant communities can gather, heal, learn, and organize for a future where we all thrive.

Homegirls Mentorship Circle
We’re launching our Teen Girl Circle here at Nuestro Barrio, a space for connection, confidence, and community for girls ages 13–18. Learn more about our Homegirl Circle, who can join, and how to sign up as a mentor if you feel called to support and guide our next generation.
